Oral paste for dairy cows for the prevention and treatment of ketosis. Used as an energy supplement after calving and during the treatment of diseases associated with energy deficiency. The day of calving and the beginning of lactation is the moment when the cow's energy, vitamin and mineral consumption increases significantly. If this increasing need is not adequately met, a negative energy balance (energy deficiency) is possible with subsequent metabolic diseases - ketosis and hypocalcemia. During this time, a drop in calcium levels is also observed, and therefore the risk of milk fever also increases. Propylene glycol and calcium propionate are glucose precursors with antiketotic and detoxifying properties. Since the calcium included in the composition is in the form of propionate, the paste guarantees a dual effect: 1) elimination of ketosis and 2) prevention of milk fever. Cobalt stimulates the growth of rumen microflora. Usage: For clinically sick cows: using a special gun, administer the contents of one tube into the cow's mouth 2 times a day (2-4 days). For the prevention of ketosis or for subclinically sick animals, administer the contents of one tube 1 x a day until the threat of ketosis is eliminated (usually 4-5 days). For clinically sick, pregnant ewes, administer 1/3 of the contents of the tube 1 x a day until improvement is observed.
